Abstract
The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is applied to predict reflection coefficients for edge slots penetrating the adjacent broads ides of thick walled rectangular X-band waveguides. Measured and calcu lated values S-11 are compared to experiment for waveguides terminated by shorted loads.
