Abstract
We investigated heterogeneous alloys of the quasi-binary series Cu90Fe xC10-x(0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 10). Two magnet ic phases appear in the ternary alloy, and the magnetoresistance decre ases with increasing Fe content. The effect of B substitution was inve stigated for several Cu-Co-B samples, where intermetallic CoB and Co2B precipitates appeared. The magnetoresistance is strongly depressed ev en for only small additions of B.
