Abstract
Properties of colloidal suspensions of MnxFe1-xFe2O4 particles have be en investigated using electron microscopy, magnetic measurements and d e-susceptibility techniques. Effect of temperature on the magnetic pro perties of ferrofluids in both liquid and solid states has been studie d. Analysis of the data yields information on the anisotropy constant, particle size distribution and superparamagnetic behaviour.
