E. Kirowaeisner et al., CALCULATION OF OUTER HELMHOLTZ POTENTIAL AT MERCURY AS A FUNCTION OF TEMPERATURE AND CONCENTRATION OF AQUEOUS SODIUM-FLUORIDE SOLUTIONS, Journal of electroanalytical chemistry [1992], 381(1-2), 1995, pp. 11-14
Potentials of the outer Helmholtz plane, phi(2), at mercury as functio
n of electrode potential and temperature are calculated on the basis o
f the Gouy-Chapman theory using Grahame's data for surface charge and
capacitance in aqueous NaF solutions. An empirical equation for calcul
ating phi(2) at negative rational potential is presented. Grahame's or
iginal data of surface charge and capacitance are summarized in ASCII
files on floppy disk.
