Abstract
Reactions of formation of graphite salts (intercalation compounds with Bronsted acids) are described in this review. Various procedures for the synthesis of graphite salts are examined, and the individual stage s of the synthesis are discussed: preparation of the graphite, oxidati on, hydrolysis, and conversion into the residual compounds.
