Abstract
In 1992, Welsh Water withdrew the successful water fluoridation scheme on Anglesey. Despite evidence of the benefits of water fluoridation a nd the rise in number of children with tooth decay since the scheme's withdrawal, Welsh Water is still not prepared to re-establish the sche me.
