Abstract
N-Chloromethyl-N-benzyloxyamides were synthetized from hydroxamic acid s through hydroxymethylation followed by the action of thionyl chlorid e. The obtained products were reacted with nucleophiles under mild con ditions. Examples of formation of C-C, C-O, C-N and C-P bonds are give n.
