Abstract
Experiments aimed at the deposition of hydrophobic coatings on acrylic fiber surfaces are described. The effects of utilizing fluorine-conta ining and siloxane monomers and of varying plasma parameters have been assessed by measuring deposition rates, observing surface chemistry a nd determining water contact angles.
