ENDOR of LiF crystals with F-centres were investigated in the inhomoge
neous magnetic field. Spectra of samples with even paramagnetic centre
distribution and samples with a diamagnetic ''hole'' were recorded. E
NDOR signal dependences on the hole size and dc magnetic field were in
vestigated. A theoretical expression for the ENDOR spectrum which desc
ribed experimental dependences was obtained. It was applied for the an
alysis of various cases which occurred at the ENDOR in the inhomogeneo
us magnetic field. It was shown that the superlocalization effect, i.e
. the narrowing of the observation region as compared to single resona
nces, might take place in ENDOR.
