Abstract
The critical temperatures and pressures of mono-, di- tri-, and tetra- ethene glycols, and polyethene glycols with nominal molar masses M/M(d egrees) (where M(degrees) = 1 g.mol(-1)) equal to 300, 400, and 600, h ave been measured by the pulse-heating method applicable to thermally unstable substances. The results have been correlated as a function of the molar mass using the hole theory of liquids developed by Kurata a nd Isida with a slight modification.
