Abstract
The isotope effect E = d In(D)/d In (1/root m) of Co diffusion in stru cturally relaxed Co86Zr14 and Co81Zr19 glasses has been measured by me ans of a radiotracer technique. Within experimental accuracy no isotop e effect was detected (E < 0.04). This suggests a highly cooperative d iffusion mechanism. The connection between diffusion and collective lo w-frequency relaxations in glasses is discussed.
