Abstract
This paper describes a method of oxidizable compounds removal, especia lly benzenesulfonic acid, from the liquid waste generated in the produ ction of benzene sulfonyl chloride. It was found out that the oxidizab le compounds content in the liquid waste was reduced substantially by extraction with 2-ethylhexanol. A process now sheet with solvent recyc ling system is proposed.
