Abstract
Methods for the eigenvalue reanalysis for the finite dynamic element m ethod are developed. This method considers the frequency-dependency of the structural matrices. The structural matrices can be calculated ex actly as well as approximately using a Taylor series expansion. Reanal ysis methods are examined for both cases. Numerical examples are prese nted to show the efficiency and accuracy of the reanalysis methods com pared with the complete solution.
