Ds. Bhandarkar et Tv. Taylor, PERCUTANEOUS ENDOSCOPIC JEJUNOSTOMY FOR ENTERAL FEEDING IN ROUX STASIS SYNDROME, Minimally invasive therapy, 3(5), 1994, pp. 265-266
A percutaneous endoscopic jejunostomy (PEJ) is preferred to a percutan
eous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) for enteral feeding in certain condi
tions. The PEJ can be placed under local anaesthetic and sedation, thu
s avoiding the morbidity associated with an open procedure. We describ
e the construction of PEJs for enteral feeding in three patients suffe
ring from Roux stasis syndrome.
