Abstract
Reactions between aniline and dibromomethane (DBM) or 1,2-dibromoethan e (DBE) produce fine glassy crystals at ordinary temperature. Due to t hese product formation processes, aniline fails to exert its scavengin g action on bromine recoil reactions in these media.
