Abstract
The authors analyze the efficacies of various types of surgical interv entions in hyperfunction of the superior oblique muscle (in 85 patient s): inferior oblique muscle recession (in 51 eyes) and its myectomy (i n 31 eyes), and describe a new scheme of dosed weakening of the inferi or oblique muscle developed by them.
