Abstract
This article examines aspects of the interaction of a measurement disk with a specimen through a flexible elastic element. A method is propo sed for determining the main parameters of measuring devices with allo wance for the displacement of the neutral axis of the elastic element as it is bent by the disk. Examples are presented to illustrate the us e of the rolling method in measuring instruments with flexible element s.
