New N-acetyl anthranilic acid (NAA) -Tc(V) and -Re(V) complexes were p
repared by the direct reduction of TcO4- and ReO4- with alkaline and a
cidic NaBH4 respectively and in the presence of an excess of ligand. T
he complexes were characterized by spectroscopy and elemental analysis
. Reversed phase HPLC on Lichrosorb-Rp-18 was used to isolate Tc(V)-NA
A complex. Electrophoresis measurements showed them having negative ch
arges. The complexes were H-2O soluble.
