Abstract
Experimental evidence is presente in favor of dipolar ions [GRAPHICS] and [GRAPHICS] as the first intermediates formed in the oxidation of a zines R2C=N-N=CR2 and hydrazones R2C=N-NR2 with oxygen transfer agents .
