Abstract
This paper describes an adaptive-grid finite-difference solver for tim e-dependent three-dimensional systems of partial differential equation s. The robustness and the efficiency of the solver is illustrated by t he application of the code to three example problems. The performance of the solver is measured both for vector and scalar processors.
