Abstract
Compounds of the type TiX(4)L and TiX(4)L(2) (X = Cl, Br; L = 2-methyl - Delta(2)-oxazoline, thiazole, isoxazole, 5-methylisoxazole, 3,5-dime thylisoxazole or 4-methyloxazole) were prepared. Their structures are discussed on the basis oi their IR and Raman spectra with particular r eference to the Ti-X stretching bands. EIMS fragmentation patterns ref lect the weakness of the Ti-N bond.
