Abstract
A new experimental mixing scheme for band-selective Hartmann-Hahn tran sfer between the H-N and H-alpha resonances of peptides and proteins i s presented. This form of tailored correlation spectroscopy (TACSY) al lows enhancement of the sensitivity of specific (H-N-H-alpha)-fingerpr int signals compared to broadband TOCSY experiments. The design criter ia as well as experimental applications of the multiple-pulse sequence CABBY-1 are presented. (C) 1995 Academic Press, Inc.
