Abstract
This work deals with obtaining of asymmetric membranes by phase invers ion method, induced by a chemical reaction. The investigations were ca rried out on a polymer-solvent-nonsolvent system with polyamide-6 as p olymer, formic acid as solvent and aqueous base solutions (NaOH, NH3) as nonsolvents. The following variants of chemical reactions which ind uce phase inversion were studied : decomposition of the solvent in non solvent, reaction between the solvent and nonsolvent and also that bet ween a nucleophillic reactant from the nonsolvent with solvent. The ch emical reactions influenced the morphology of the membranes obtained i n this study, as evidenced bg scanning electron microscopy.
