Abstract
The copolymerization of N-(2-hydroxyethyl)ethyleneimine as nucleophili c monomer and phtalic anhydride as electrophilic monomer without initi ator in solution under different mole ratios was investigated. The cop olymers were characterized by elemental analyses, IR and H-1-NMR spect roscopy. The thermal stability of the copolymers was studied. From the copolymer compositions, FT-IR and H-1-NMR spectra, it was possible to suggest a copolymer structure.
