Abstract
This study assessed how corporate culture affects men's likelihood of becoming more involved in child care and using family leave benefits. We found that Swedish companies are somewhat ''father friendly'', but few have undertaken widescale changes in corporate policy and practice that would make the workplace highly supportive of active fatherhood. Therefore, men's use of family leave benefits remains modest. Implica tions are drawn for policy making in Sweden and the U.S.
