Abstract
The authors describe a patient who had undergone plombage as a treatme nt for tuberculosis approximately 40 years previously and who presente d with a breast abscess secondary to migration of the plombage materia l. This complication of plombage, which has not previously been report ed, was demonstrated by computed tomography.
