Abstract
Sorghum lines showed variations in protein profile. Three types of pol ypeptides differing in molecular weight were detected, A (106 KDa), B (82 KDa) C (54 KDa) The latter was detected in some glossy lines. Nong lossy lines showed the presence of polypeptides of higher molecular we ight (106 KDa). The low molecular weight KDa protein may be associated with resistance mechanisms to shootfly and other stress factors.
