Abstract
The chromatographic profiles of the essential oils and anthocyanins fo und in the achene involucres Tagetes coronopifolia Willd. and Tageles foelidissima D. C. (varieties green and purple) were analyzed. The pre sence of phototoxic compounds as well as their antibiotic activity wer e determined the hexanic extracts of the plant.
