Abstract
The reaction pi(-) + p --> Lambda + K-0 is discussed taking into accou nt the recoil momentum implications of the mass difference Delta M bet ween the long K-L and short K-S mesons. Previous discrepancies in the experimental reported values of Delta M are resolved, and spatial osci llations in the Lambda decay products are predicted.
