T. Nishitani et al., CREEP RELATION CONSIDERING THE EFFECTS OF HYDROSTATIC-PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE FOR CELLULOSE NITRITE, Journal of polymer engineering, 14(1), 1995, pp. 75-84
The deformation behavior of polymers, unlike metals, is strongly influ
enced by the hydrostatic pressure. In this paper, the creep relation o
f polymers, considering the effect of hydrostatic pressure, is deduced
by using the concept of tenser function theory, including temperature
function of the exponential form. In addition, the validity of the de
duced creep relation is discussed in relation to the creep tests, cons
idering the effect of the hydrostatic pressure at the several experime
ntal temperatures and using the cellulose nitrate plate as in previous
papers.
