Abstract
The described method of the determination of benzyl chloride, chlorobe nzene, naphtalene, and biphenyl in waste gas consists in their absorpt ion in 2-methoxyethanol and analysis of the solution by HPLC. The abso lute determination limits for 20-mu 1 injected sample are for naphtale ne, biphenyl, benzyl chloride, and chlorobenzene 20, 40, 80, and 100 n g, respectively. The recoveries of the determined compounds were over 90 % in the ppm range.
