Abstract
The feasibility of attainment of cw lasing as a result of transitions from a resonant to a metastable level in the coper atom is demonstrate d for the first time. A theoretical model is proposed for the descript ion of relaxation of a plasma formed in a plasma accelerator. It is sh own that at small distances form the accelerator edge the laser radiat ion intensity can be approximately 5 W cm-2.
