The effect of magnetoimpurity electron states on helical electromagnet
ic waves propagating through an electron-hole plasma of normal uncompe
nsated metals is considered. The reconstruction of the spectrum of the
se waves is found to occur in the vicinity of the resonance electron t
ransitions between the Landau levels and magnetoimpurity ones and it i
s followed by new branches of the spectrum. The spectrum and the dampi
ng decrement of these waves in the vicinity of the frequencies of reso
nance electron transitions are calculated. The distribution of electro
magnetic field in the of metal volume is determined. The surface imped
ance of a metallic half-space with magnetoimpurity states is calculate
d. The impedance resonances at limiting frequencies of the spectrum he
lical waves are observed.
