PRESENTATION OF AN ADENOME IN THE TEAR GL AND OF A RED DEER (CERVUS-ELAPHUS L)

During the examination of Harders glands and the tear glands in red de er, we found a tumor in the tear gland of one animal. During the patho histological diagnosis and through different dye methods (Hematoxin-Eo sin, Trichrom method according to MALLORY, combination-dye with Alzian blue pH 2,5 and PAS-Method and the Immunocytochemical method) we foun d that the cells of the tumor are mostly polygonal and show karyorhexi s as well as karyopyknosis. Furthermore, this tumor is adenome of the tear gland of epithelian origin.
