Abstract
Cortical microtubule arrays in plants are involved in many morphogenet ically important processes. Recent analog cytochemical and immunolocal ization experiments have provided new insights into the temporal and s patial dynamics of cortical microtubules. Current data suggest that th e arrangement of these arrays is modulated by cell cycle and signal tr ansduction elements, including calcium.
