Abstract
The genus Chrysothamnus (Asteraceae) contains 16 species. Recently, 4 species were transferred to Ericameria, and the remaining 12 were left in Chrysothamnus. The remaining species are now transferred to Ericam eria as E. albida, E. depressa, E. eremobia, E. graminea E. filifolia (formerly C. greenei), E. humilis, E. linifolia, E. molesta, E. pulche lla, E. pulchelloides (a fossil species), E. spathulata, E. vaseyi, an d E. viscidiflora. Section alignments are given, and some infraspecifi c combinations are also made.
