Abstract
As durable and nontoxic infra-red waveguides, polyimide-coated silver hollow waveguides have been proposed and fabricated based on the liqui d phase coating method in the whole process. Er:YAG laser light has be en successfully transmitted through the waveguide with small bending l osses.
