COPING STYLES, IMPULSIVENESS, VENTURESOMENESS AND EMPATHY

The relationships between Impulsiveness, Venturesomeness and Empathy, and Plutchik's coping styles were studied. The following relationships were found: Impulsiveness correlated negatively with Mapping and posi tively with Suppression (for men), positively with Suppression and See king Succorance, and negatively with Substitution (for women). Venture someness correlated negatively with Fault-finding (for men) and with M inimization and Substitution (for women). Empathy correlated positivel y with Minimization, Seeking Succorance and Replacement (for men) and negatively with Minimization, Replacement, Mapping and Reversal (for w omen).
