Abstract
Cyclization reaction of S-substituted thioglycerol and oligoethylene g lycol ditosylate gave thiolariat ethers in moderate yields. Mercaptome thyl crown ethers were obtained easily from benzylthiomethyl crown eth ers by Na in liq. NH3-BuOH.
