Abstract
The effects of polyamide 6/styrene-butadiene rubber ratio and processi ng conditions in Brabender Plasti-Corder (temperature in the range of 200 to 220 degrees C, rotor rate in the range of 50 to 100 r.p.m., mix ing time from 15 to 35 minutes, rubber plasticization time from 0 to 1 2 minutes) on the properties of polyblends have been studied. It was f ound that it is possible to obtain thermoplastic elastomer-like polyme r materials with useful properties (tensile strength up to 60 MPa, elo ngation at break up to 100%).
