Abstract
In contrast to the data related to the BuLi-vinyl pyridine systems, 4- vinyl pyridine is distinguished by much greater activity as compared w ith 2-vinyl pyridine in the polymerization induced bg tris-pi-allyl ch romium. The experimental results illustrating this difference are cons idered using the quantum chemical approach.
