Abstract
New 1,4-benzothiazepine diastereomers 6a,b were prepared by ring expan sion of the 1,3-benzothiazine derivative 1 and from 2-benzoylmethylthi o-4,5-dimethoxybenzylamine hydrochloride (5)with benzaldehyde.
