Abstract
A series of 3-thiosemicarbazono-2-indolinones and 3-(4-thiazolidone-2- hydrazono)-2-indolinones was synthesized by condensation of various is atin derivatives with 4-substituted 3-thiosemicarbazides and cyclizati on of the products by monochloroacetic acid or ethyl alpha-bromoacetat e. In the present work we report on the structure determination and an ticonvulsant evaluation of the title compounds.
