Abstract
Five mineral spring waters in the central region of Anatolia have been investigated for major ions and heavy metal contents. Standard method s were used for the determinations of chemical and physical characteri stics of the water samples. The trace metal ions were determined by fl ame atomic absorption spectrometer after preconcentration on Amberlite XAD-4 resin.
