Abstract
In an overview the technologies of air cleaning and solvent recovery i s followed by an account of the adsorption of solvents on polymer resi ns. Test plant, experimental adsorption equilibria and breakthrough cu rves as well as mathematical modelling for the design of fixed bed ads orbers are the main focus of attention. Practical examples demonstrate the advantages of using polymer resins in solvent recovery.
