MUTUAL ERROR COMPENSATION OF CONICAL LASER-BEAM CROSS-SECTION CONVERTERS

This paper analyzes the conditions and determines the limiting possibi lities for mutual error compensation of conical converters with straig ht and parabolic generatrices of the cones. It is shown that the toler ances on the fabrication and preliminary adjustment of the converters in this case can be broadened by more than a factor of 5. It is possib le to eliminate aberrations in the output beam by varying only three p arameters in the final adjustment.
