Abstract
This article reviews some of the research conducted on adhesive bondin g of steel to aluminum and discusses the factors controlling adhesion, initial joint strength and bondline durability. Tests on the wash res istance of adhesive systems in the uncured state and various propertie s of bulk specimens are described.
