Abstract
Here we report the physical map locations of five genes required for p hospholipid biosynthesis in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. These include fo ur structural genes (INO1, CHO2, OPI3 and PIS1) and one global negativ e regulatory gene (UME6). Collectively, this information completes the mapping of all phospholipid biosynthetic structural and regulatory ge nes identified to date.
