Abstract
We report three patients waiting for heart transplantation who suddenl y worsened clinically. All three explanted hearts showed a myocarditis with a dense eosinophilic infiltrate. Follow-up biopsies and necropsi es showed no further evidence of cardiac eosinophilic infiltrates. The possible relationship between drugs administered before transplantati on and clinico-pathological findings is discussed.
