Abstract
In a companion paper, a method has been presented for determining the directivity of a planar noise source based upon nearfield acoustical h olography [1]. Suggestions have been made concerning ways to overcome difficulties of implementing this method. In this paper the method is further refined by using numerical simulation to investigate the effec tiveness of the proposals contained in the companion paper.
